The Boxer is thought to have been developed from the Bulldog and Great Dane in Germany around the nineteenth century as a guard dog. They have a lovely temperament are very loyal & affectionate with a muscular build and bounds of stamina. A low maintenance coat they do benefit from a regular bath when that doggie odour thing starts to happen. Zucco pictured is a regular, his owners like his long whiskers removed, also special attention is given to ensure his wrinkles are clean and dry after bathing. His coat comes up beautifully shiny after a massage and coat polish.
